Mamre Brook
is one of the most famous places in the Barossa Valley and
the wines, featuring the grand old Mamre Brook house on
the label, are among Australia’s favourites. Built
in 1844, Mamre Brook is the original house at the Saltram
winery and for six generations it has been the home of Saltram’s
chief winemaker including current winemaker Nigel Dolan
and before him his father, Brian.
The Mamre Brook wines stand proud as a tribute to their
heritage at the heart of the Barossa with all fruit sourced
exclusively from this great region. The Mamre Brook wines
are characterised by their warmth and generosity –
much the same as the welcome people have received at the
house for more than 150 years.
