TOUR
DOWN UNDER
The action is exhilarating; the atmosphere intoxicating;
the stars electrifying and you’re invited to
‘feel the rush’ of the 2006 Tour Down
Under. Almost 100 superstars of world cycling will
do battle on the roads of South Australia from 17-22
January in the most prestigious early season race
on the international calendar. The Barossa Valley
is the host of the 148km second stage of the Tour
Down Under, with the race running past Saltram Wine
Estate twice, including the drama of the final kilometre
before the sprint finish in the gracious, tree lined
town of Angaston, less than a kilometre up the road
from Saltram! |
