TOUR DOWN UNDER
The action is exhilarating; the atmosphere intoxicating; the stars electrifying and you’re invited to ‘feel the rush’ of the 2006 Tour Down Under. Almost 100 superstars of world cycling will do battle on the roads of South Australia from 17-22 January in the most prestigious early season race on the international calendar. The Barossa Valley is the host of the 148km second stage of the Tour Down Under, with the race running past Saltram Wine Estate twice, including the drama of the final kilometre before the sprint finish in the gracious, tree lined town of Angaston, less than a kilometre up the road from Saltram!

BAROSSA ROSE & FLOWER SHOW
An opportunity for local garden enthusiasts, both young and old, to display their roses and cut flowers in this annual exhibition, with sections for novice, intermediate and open. A variety of trade stalls, raffle and afternoon tea complement the Show's attraction of masses of beautiful flowers. Nett proceeds in aid of Barossa Village Inc and Tanunda Lutheran Homes Inc.

Show open Saturday 12-5pm, Sunday 10-4.
Entry $4 per person or 2 day pass for $6.
