Bright fruits of plum, blueberries and red currants

Flavours and Palate

This traditional Australian blend of Shiraz and Cabernet

Vintage Conditions

The Langhorne Creek growing season saw particularly low winter and spring rainfall, and all months after August were drier than average until approximately 60mm of rain fell at the end of January. Poor flowering led to lower than average crop levels across the region. December and January were particularly dry and hot, but after the rainfall in Late January the region experienced a very cool ripening period. The cool conditions certainly maintained natural acidity in the grapes and allowed winemakers to pick at optimal ripeness
