Celebrates the establishment of Saltram wines in the Barossa in 1859, by founder, William Salter.
Created in a traditional style, this Barossa Shiraz has aromas of black berries, anise and cocoa. The palate is dense with an excellent line of fruit flavours, robust tannins and a lingering, chewy finish. This brilliant and textural example of Shiraz is sourced from precious vineyards across the Barossa from an expressive 2017 vintage. The depth and generosity of the Barossa Valley Shiraz combined by the prevailing tannins and silky mouthfeel from the Eden Valley Shiraz, produced a wine with great length and complexity.
