Celebrates the establishment of Saltram wines in the Barossa in 1859, by founder, William Salter.
Created in a traditional style, this Riesling from Eden Valley, has notes of citrus blossom, bath salts and musk.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from old Survivor vines (70 years old) from a single vineyard in Eden Valley. Grapes was harvested over a 2 week period to maximise flavours and natural acidity. Once harvested, the grapes were fully crushed to build structure, and the juice was racked from settling to ferment. Following fermentation, the wine was left on lees until bottling.
