Salters Kitchen

In 1859, when wine grapes were first planted at Saltram Wine Estate, an outdoor kitchen was hurridely built to feed the Estates hungry workers.  It was know as Salters Kitchen, named after the Salter Family that established Saltram.  The grand tradition born of that time - generous hospitality, fresh and nourishng food, enjoyed with wine - continues today in the modern day Salters Kitchen.  Our contempoary, casual-style menu, is inspired by the many food cultures brought to the Barossa by the settlers, incorporating the freshest ingredients and using the best produce of the Barossa.
