Join us for the annual Saltram Wine & Footy lunch during the AFL’s Gather Round. Lunch will include four course Barossa inspired feast with matched Saltram Luxury wines, footy and wine chat and plenty of great stories and laughs.
A tutored tasting of some of the most iconic wines including Saltram No.1 Shiraz [first made in 1862] and the Saltram Centenarian Journal Barossa Shiraz – from a single vineyard planted in 1903.
Join us on a guided historical tour of the Saltram Wine Estate- founded by William Salter in 1859. Your tour starts with a visit to heritage listed Mamre Brook House- the original Salters family home and home to some of the great Saltram winemakers including Peter Lehmann, before viewing the underground tunnels, where you will uncover the stories within. Your tour concludes with a tutored tasting of some of the most iconic wines including Saltram No.1 Shiraz [first made in 1862] and the Saltram Centenarian Journal Barossa Shiraz – from a single vineyard planted in 1903.
This culminates with a two-course lunch in Salters Kitchen.
